Palkhi

Every year, in the months of June and July, a centuries old Maharashtrian tradition called Palkhi is religiously followed by the Warkari sect. We at Sinhgad Spring Dale Primary School also celebrate this tradition. Students come dressed as Warkaries and carry a palanquin of SantTukaram and go around the school singing and chanting.


Investiture Ceremony

The Guru- Shishya Parampara is carried forward in this modern age also. On the occasion of Gurupournima,the students of Std III and IV are given badges and appointed as Head girl, Head boy, Sports Captain, House captains and Vice Captains.
Even for the secondary section Girls and Boys of Std. VI to IX were appointed as vice captains and captains for various houses. Std. X boy and girl were appointed as head girl and head boy.


Annual Gathering

Our students perform professionally under the excellent training imparted by the teachers. Gathering is one of the important activity in our school. Students dressed in different costumes look very beautiful when they perform on the stage.


Republic Day

The constitution of India was framed on 26th January 1950, which is celebrated as “Republic Day”. We at Sinhgad Spring Dale School too celebrated this day with great joy and enthusiasm. Our students put up a dance on “Chak De India”.


Christmas

Christmas was celebrated in our school on 23rd December with Students dressed in Festive clothes. They sang Christmas carols along with Santa Claus who had came to give them greetings of Christmas
