Outreach campaign
The Sinhgad Schools focus at enhancing student’s multifarious inclination towards reading and understanding our tradition and culture along with an awareness about environment, mathematical terms etc. The School has initiated Reading Club, Heritage Club, Eco-Club, Science Club and Maths Club for the students.
Reading Club
To promote love for reading, facilitate intellectual discussions and foster a sense of community among its members, the reading club has been initiated, through which students get opportunities to read various newspapers, story books, novels etc. in a spacious library where they can get abundance of books. They come together to discuss and share their thoughts on books, articles, essays or any other thought provoking material.
Eco Club
At Sinhgad Schools, is dedicated to promote an environmental awareness, sustainability and conservation efforts.
The primary aim of the Eco club is to engage its members in activities & initiatives that contribute to a healthier and more sustainable environment.
Workshops and activities such as educational sessions to raise an awareness about the environmental issues like pollution, climatic changes, waste management and biodiversity loss are conducted in the schools.
Some projects like tree planting drives, clean up campaigns, recycling programs, water conservation projects and creating green spaces within the school are initiated at the Sinhgad Schools. Study tours are arranged for the fulfillment of the above mentioned activities. ‘Meri Mitti Mera Desh‘ is one of such activities which brings children close to the nature.
Heritage Club
To preserve, promote and celebrate the cultural heritage and traditions of a particular community, region or country the Heritage Club is initiated at Sinhgad Schools. It works to preserve the cultural heritage including traditions, customs, languages, arts, craft & historical landmarks.
Science Club
With a view to fostering love for science, promoting hands on learning through experiments and projects, providing a supportive community for students interested in STEM fields, and encouraging critical thinking and problem solving skills, Science club has been initiated at Sinhgad Schools It helps our students make science engaging, accessible and enjoyable for club members
Math’s Club
In every walk of life mathematical terms, counting numbers and practicality are the indispensable part. The Maths Club provides vital benefits or contributions that are difficult to do without. It offers a supportive community for exporting Maths beyond the classroom, helps students build confidence in their mathematical abilities, fosters critical thinking skills and provides opportunities for enrichment & exploration. Besides these all it is a lot of fun!
Through various engaging activities like puzzles, quiz, games tackling challenging mathematical problems, it cultivates love for Maths, it encourages collaboration & peer learning among members. & prepares the students for Maths competitions or exams by practicing with like-minded peers.
These clubs are a part and a parcel of Sinhgad Schools, which help the students building their character & overall development of every student
